DONNIE NIETES – Boxing champion Donie “Ahas” Nietes is now a delivery man for a famous online platform and netizens are having these reactions.
Donnie “Ahas” Nietes, the longest reigning Filipino boxing champion as proclaimed by boxing magazines and enthusiasts, now works as a delivery driver for Food Panda. It just goes to show that sport isn’t his only way to make money and he’s currently proud of his humble job.
In his recent posts, the 4 division world champion was seen in the platform’s pink uniform. And after posting, his posts immediately went viral and garnered a lot of comments.
In the same posts, he also shared some videos and clips of him delivering items, presumably his customers’ orders. He shared one of his where his motorcycle got stuck in the mud – just one of his mishaps as a delivery driver.
“Ano ba gagawin ko nito eh naipit ako sa putikan. Saan na ba ako banda? Ah, naipit na talaga ako,” he said in a video.

Nietes is a famous professional boxer who is widely regarded as the country’s longest-serving world boxing champion. He was the one who broke the record held by another Filipino boxing legend, Gabriel “Flash” Elorde, in 2014.
He holds the WBO mini flyweight title, the WBO and The Ring junior flyweight titles, the IBF flyweight title and the WBO junior bantamweight title. As of 2021, he is the fifth-best active junior bantamweight boxer in the world.
