Kapamilya singer Erik Santos mourns great loss.
ERIK SANTOS – Famous singer Erik Santos makes a short but heartfelt message for his mother who has just passed away.
Filipino singer, TV presenter, actor and model Erik Santos rose to fame after being hailed as the inaugural Grand Champion of ABS-CBN singing competition Star in a Million Season 1 in 2004. He has made several hits and is now one of the most respected artists in the music industry.
“Your Love, This is the Moment”, “Pagbigyang Muli”, “Nais”, “Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ko”, “I’ll Never Go” and “Awit Para Sa’Yo” are just some of the songs he has written made famous.
And just recently, the singer shared heartbreaking news in an Instagram post. He lost a very important person in his life to lung cancer.
In his post, he shared that his mother, Angelita Ramos-Santos, passed away and she died of lung cancer at the age of 66.
It was as if she had been waiting for him to come home before leaving, as he had just come from his Threelogy concert series in the United States, along with other artists like Christian Bautista and Morissette Amon.
As a reminder, his mother was diagnosed with the disease last February.
He said, “She’s finally home with Jesus. 🙏🏻❤️ I love you so much Nanay’ and ‘Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, Nanay. ❤️” in his posts.
